The GRZ Cluster fitted to a Toyota GR86, seen through the steering wheel at dusk: oil and coolant temperatures on the left, the tachometer in the centre, and per-corner tire pressures on the 3D car to the right
Toyota GR86 · Subaru BRZ

Your whole dashboard, reimagined.

One widescreen display, edge to edge across the cluster opening. It drops into the factory space and plugs into the factory connector. No cutting, no adapters, nothing to reprogram.

Same opening. Same connector.

How it should have come from the factory.

The factory gauges leave most of the binnacle as black plastic. The GRZ panel uses every millimeter of it. One widescreen display, edge to edge, in the space your gauges came out of. Same opening, same connector, nothing cut.

Make it yours

Set it up once. It knows your car.

Pick your badge, your paint and your accent color on the first start. Everything on every screen follows, including the car itself.

Toyota GR86 · Halo

Badge, paint, accent.

Ten factory colors for the GR86, nine for the BRZ, on the car you see every time you drive — the same values the panel renders it with, so the swatch is the color you get. Then choose an accent, and it carries across every gauge, indicator and highlight — on the cluster, and on this site. Pick one and the whole page follows you around, page to page, until you change it again.

Factory versus GRZ

Everything it was never going to show you.

Most of this data is already moving around your car. The factory cluster simply has nowhere to put it, and in one notorious case hides it behind a drive mode.

The gauge

A big, clear rev counter with your speed in the middle. Set your own warning and redline, and a shift needle warns you before a downshift would over-rev the engine.

Every mode, its own layout

Every mode your car has, its own layout.

Set each drive mode up the way you want it once. Whichever modes your car came with, the screens you want are already there when you switch. You never touch a menu on the move.

Easy to live with

Fit it yourself. Set it yourself.

It plugs into the factory connector and it is yours to fit. Even the mileage comes across on its own: plug the cluster into your OBD port before you fit it and it reads the odometer straight out of the car.

  1. 01

Plug it into the OBD port

Before anything comes apart, the cluster reads your mileage straight out of the car. About three minutes, and nothing for you to type in.

  2. 02

    Drop it in

Out with the factory cluster, in with this one. Same opening, same connector. Nothing cut, nothing spliced, nothing coded to your car.

  3. 03

    Six steps and drive

Language, badge, paint, accent and Wi-Fi. It brings the mileage it already collected across with it, and you are done.

Six buttons. That is the whole interface.

Up, down, left, right, enter and back, on the buttons and stalks already in the car. Press to move between screens, hold to go deeper, press enter three times to hide your speed from the passenger seat.

Everything clears itself after a few seconds, so you are never left sitting in a menu you did not mean to open. Warnings interrupt when they need to and hand the screen straight back when they are done.

Six buttons, nothing to learn

Up, down, left, right, enter and back. All on the buttons your hands are already on, so they never leave the wheel.

Genuinely plug and play

It drops into the factory opening and plugs into the factory connector. Nothing cut, nothing spliced, nothing coded to your car. If you can undo four screws, you can fit it.

Your mileage, read from the car

Plug the cluster into your OBD port before you fit it and it pulls the odometer straight out of the car. Nothing to type in and nothing to transcribe, so there is no wrong number to argue about later. No dealer, no locksmith, no programming tool.

Set up once

A guided first start walks you through your language, your badge, your paint and your accent color. Six steps and you are done.

It remembers

Each drive mode keeps its own layout. Switch to Track or Apex and the screens you want are already where you left them.

Always ready

It wakes with the car and sleeps when you leave. No boot-up wait, no button to press, nothing to plug in.

Built to last

It lives in a car. It’s built like it.

A dashboard bakes in summer and freezes in winter, and everything in it vibrates for years. This was designed for that, not adapted to it.

  • Built in the USANot a rebadged import
  • 2-Year WarrantyParts and labour
  • Japanese CapacitorsThroughout the board

The parts that usually fail, don’t

Cheap electronics die at the capacitors first, and a dashboard bakes in the sun every summer. Every capacitor on the board is Japanese, rated for the heat a car actually sees.

It never hesitates

Sixty frames a second, on its own render thread, with the software measuring its own frame rate twice a second and shedding background work the moment it slips. A gauge that stutters is worse than no gauge, so it does not.

Not a tablet in a bezel

The system is a Linux built from source for this board, with no desktop, no browser and no app store in it. The operating system partition is read-only, so there is nothing to corrupt when you pull the key, and no launcher to be dumped back to when something goes wrong.

Nothing spins, nothing wears

No fan, no hard drive, no moving parts at all. Nothing to hear over the engine and nothing to wear out over the years.

An update can’t strand you

A new version installs alongside the old one and only takes over once it has proven it can display. If anything goes wrong you get the version that worked, automatically. And if you simply preferred the old one, roll back to it yourself from the settings menu.

It still makes the right noises

The turn signal tick, the seatbelt chime and the blind spot warning are the cluster’s job in this car, so there is an amplifier on the board to do them. Nothing about the car goes quiet because you changed the dashboard.

It sleeps when you do

When the car shuts down the panel powers down with it and wakes on the door. Leave the car for two weeks and come back to a battery where you left it.

Not a rebadged import

This is not a generic panel from a catalog with a logo stuck on it. The board was designed, built and supported here in the USA, for this car specifically. Every unit authenticates itself at startup, so a counterfeit will not talk to your car at all.

2 years, covered

If it fails, we replace it. Support comes from the people who designed and built it, not a call center.

Limited first production run

The cluster it deserves.
